Surviving the Crisis

The foreclosures crisis has affected everybody because we live in societies whose elements are interrelated, but there are some professions, which are more affected than the others are. Therefore, the most exposed, if they are unemployed, are those who have jobs that are very difficult to perform during the foreclosures crisis such as brokers, economists, officials, realtors, street sellers etc.

Their expertise cannot be valued during foreclosures and economic depression.

Among professions, which present an advantage we can mention experts in reparations. Many people will choose to repair their domestic equipment, or to mend their shoes. Useful skills are the knowledge of plants, fungi, food sources and medicinal plants, which are found in nature.

To survive we must rely on reducing expenses, on the elimination of all the expenses that are not strictly necessary.

We especially recommend:

• To reduce energy consumption

• It would be wise for those in cities to procure at least a part of their food from small farmers, helping each other

• Use of alternative means of travel instead of the car

• The waiving of credit cards in favor of debit cards to eliminate the possibility of expenditure made beyond the source of income

• Repayment of loan taken in advance if this is possible. Do not take any credit of any kind! Interests may explode in a similar situation with the early nineties, when pyramidal games fell. Now we are playing mega pyramidal games at international level.

• Search niches where your knowledge and skills may be used.

• Search for investment, if you have resources over current needs to preserve the value of savings.

From these investments may bring profit:

• From the shares of companies listed on stock exchange are very unlikely to decrease the amount of shares belonging to medicines companies. During the economic and foreclosures crisis the number of sick people, unfortunately grows. Besides, recovery companies will be busy too.

• If you can, buy gold, but experience shows that the value is well below the market price if you face difficult financial situations.

• Land

• Purchase of property in foreclosures crises is always a good investment.

• Purchase of art objects

It depends on the amount available, of the knowledge in the field, on the personal strategy.

To conclude the first part in a much more optimistic note, we must remember that there are many small countries in a situation much more favorable than the population of the so-called developed countries. A considerable part of the population possesses survival techniques during crisis developed in the past. A considerable part of the population, because their remaining behind and criticized by economists and financial experts live in the country and possesses the necessary knowledge in order to ensure a good share of food needs.

These techniques and knowledge were lost in the West, where population lives in cities do not have the knowledge about the cultivation of plants used for food. Possibly the very old ones will remember the crisis that followed the Second World War.
